Bar fight leaves man dead |

A fight in the bar of the Broadview Hotel has left one man dead.
R.C.M.P. were called to the hotel around 11:30 on the evening of October 30th, to deal with a report of people fighting in the bar.
Officers arrived to find 18 year old Matthew McKay of Ochapowace bleeding and unresponsive on the floor. E.M.S. crews were called, but they were unable to revive him. McKay was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another man...a 20 year old from Kahkewistahaw...had suffered severe lacerations to his face. He was rushed to hospital, treated, and later released.
The R.C.M.P. Major Crime Unit has been called in to help with the investigation.
An autopsy on McKay is scheduled for November 2nd in Regina.
