They were in high spirits at the opening of Regina's first specialty wine store. It's only the second one in the province, the other is in Saskatoon.
Willow Park Wines and Spirits will carry hundreds of wines you won't find at the liquor board store.

Joe Frohlick used to travel to Alberta to purchase fine wines. Now, he can find what he wants at home. He says such stores are located in other provinces. He thinks it's time Saskatchewan had them.

However, a privately owned wine store has left a bad taste with the NDP. The opposition says it will monitor the situation to make certain it doesn't lead to privatization of liquor sales. The government says that is not the intent. It wants to improve selection for consumers.
